A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for us in the 2021 Boston Music Awards!! We had such a fun time at the awards show and was really nice to see so many other acts and artists in the Boston area. This year really felt like a boost to the local music scene and community and it was really welcomed.
Much respect to all the winner and nominees for putting their music out there and working so hard this year and beyond. The Boston music scene never ceases to impress me and it's cool to see an event like the BMAs that champions and celebrates all the diverse talent coming out of our city. And thank you for all your continues support of the guys and I, it really means the world to us to get to keep making new music that means something to us and to connect with you through recorded music and live shows. We can't wait to see you in the new year!! A huge thanks to Rob Duguay and Dig Boston for including Free Country in their list of 5 Records to Buy for the Holiday Season, take a look at the full list HERE.

Josh has been reading this publication since he was just a kid, to to quote the man himself, "My 13 year old self would be losing his mind over this." Take a look at the full feature HERE. A huge thanks to Jed Gottlieb and the Boston Herald for this great article on the band and Free Country.
You can read the full article HERE. And we've got some great shows coming up in the region as well. Sept 18th in Webster, MA at Indian Ranch w/ Los Lobos Sept 26th in North Andover, MA at The Monaplex (if you'd like to attend please message Dean - [email protected] to make your reservation) Looking forward to seeing you at a show real soon!! "Free Country" was written and recorded during the pandemic and was financed by fans via crowdfunding. The gift of funding from fans made it possible for us to take the time to make the album we wanted to make and to express our gratitude, we are offering a download of the album to everyone for free for the rest of 2021.
We were given a gift, fans pledged their money to our Kickstarter campaign, they gave us the means to make this album. The pandemic showed up and it gave us the time to evaluate life, purpose, and our place in it. And then it gave us the time and the opportunity to write about observations and meaningful experiences and to record it in this collection of songs. So, we’re giving it back. All that we ask is that you share it with someone else. Let your friends know they can download it. Text them the link, send them an email, post about it on your Facebook page. We truly hope you connect with these 10 songs and hope you enjoy them. It's great to see these songs starting to see the light of day. A big thanks to our friends at Twangville for premiering "Indiana".
It's the meanest song I've ever written, but it's not without its humor. Our new album "Free Country" comes out in its entirety on Aug 20th, but you can listed to "Indiana" via Twangville right HERE today. "Today Glide is excited to premiere the music video for “When The Hammer Falls.” Hitting with a vicious wave of feedback, the song drops into a surf rock boogie woogie groove with haunting vocals and a dark swagger. The band lays down a heavy beat and swings with rock and roll bravado as they convey a sense of raw aggression. For fans of alt-country, this is definitely a tried and true romp, but the band also takes risks and has a little more fun with a truly swinging sound."
